(The Sacred Dhanurmaasa and The seventh shloka of Sri Krishnachaaritramanjaree describing the Mahima of Sri Hari Krishna Paramtama)

Background

The sacred Dhanurmaasa had begun from Sunday Margashira Maasa Shukla Paksha Trateeya. The dawn for the Devatas - all the pre arrangements to welcome Uttarayana which is commencing on January 14th.2013. January 13th. 2013 will be the concluding day of Dhanurmaasa.

Before the Sunrise, when the stars are still shining on the sky, early morning after the Braahmee Muhurta the Pooja of Sri Hari Naivedya Vaishwadeva Hastodaka must be performed. Pooja is more important. Moong dal ¾ and Rice ¼ quantity should be mixed to prepare rice. This is called as Mudganna - Huggi Every day for Naivedya during this Dhanurmaasa.

The seventh shloka of Sri Krishnachaaritramanjaree describing the Mahima of Sri Hari Krishna Paramtama and the Kaarunya Punya of our Rayaru’s Manukuloddhaara Prema are described in Mantralaya(488).



Meaning

One day Nanda Gopa in Gokula went to take a holy dip in the sacred Yamuna too early in the morning before Brahmee Muhurta. That is not the proper time for the human beings to bathe in the river. That time was Aasuree Samya.Time of the Rakkasas and the Asuras. So Varunadeva got angry and took NandaGopa to Paataala Loka. The friends of Nanda decided that Nanda is drowned in the Yamuna. Only Sri Krishna knew that it is the time of the Asuras to take bath in the river. So Varuna has taken him to his Paataala Loka. So without a second thought plunged into the Yamuna and straight went to Paataala and met Varuna. Explained that his father performed Ekadashi Vruti, so on the next day of Dwadashi early in the morning went to Yamuna for the holy dip. Did not know that the time is not suitable for us to have a river bath. So excuse him and release him. These are the wordings of Lord Sri Krishna - Sri Vishnu - Sri Hari - Sri Narayana. The joy of the Varuna knew no bonds. He simply worshipped the Lord Sri Krishna with great honour, pomp and show. Then sent Nanda along with Sri Krishna to Gokula. All felt happy towards the safe return.

Taatam Jalapatihrutamaaneeyam Lokam

This is the second line of the 7th Shloka of Sri Krishnachaaritramanjaree by our Yatiraat Gururaat Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertharu. Purposely it is described that all the Gokulavaasis felt that Sri Krishna is a child like other children. Though showed several miracles so far as a child Baala Gopalakrishna Mahima. Secondly Nanda and Yashoda loved Sri Krishna immensely and in order to express his gratitude to them, this incident had taken place.

Sri Krishna went to Paataala to bring back his father Nanda from Varuna. After that Sri Krishna took his father to Vaikunthha. There all the Gods and the Goddesses with great pomp and show welcomed. Sri Krishna offered Divya Drushti to Nanda to see the grandeur of Vaikunthha and how Sri Krishna is worshipped by all. We feel what a great Punya the friend of Vasudeva NandaGopa has made. Yogis since  several years  and rebirths longing and doing Tapasya for the Darshana of Sri Hari  - Vaikunthha have not attained so far. How easily Nanda got this great fortune of Vaikunthha Darshana because of Sri Krishna. The affectionate feeling of  motherly care of Yashodamaata  and Nanda  impelled Krishna to present the Darshana of all the Devatas in Vaikunthha that too with MoolaRoopa. Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertharu described this great incidence  with devotional ecstasy. Made it clear to all that he is not an ordinary like others. Owing to their Punya the noble couple acquired the golden opportunity to be the affectionate parents and care taking guardians. So far they actually believed that Sri Krishna is their own son.

Aadishidala Yashode Maganendu Tiliyuta

The Gopalakas thought that Krishna is their  real friend like . But the beautiful Gopis of the Gokula irrespective of difference of age loved Sri Krishna as their husband PATIDEVA  respected him and regarded him and abundantly loved him.

We are highly grateful to Mantralaya Rayaru that this philosophy is described throught out Sri Krishnachaaritramanjaree. The style of Sri Harisarvottamatva Prachaara is superb. Practically we experience while performing paaryaana. That day evening when the moon was fully bright, the garden which was situated  on the bank of the Yamuna Kaalindi Madu all the trees and the creepers blossomed with flowers full of fragrance Sri Krishna Venuloola  Venugaana Priya desired to play his flute at that time. We are amazed to know the descriptive imaginaton of our Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertharu and even the Vyakhyaana of Vidwat Chakra Choodamani Sri Laxminarayanacharyaru is of equally important.

We will be free from the danger  Bhoota -Preta - Pishaacha - Vaamaachaara - Vasheekarana - Mecca - Huchchu (Yaksha) and Rayara Mruttika will take care of all the Gruha Peeda. The wicked and the crooked  people are too dangerous and poisonous than these creatures mentioned below:
