BICHALI SRI APPANACHARYA PRIYA MANTRALAYA
SRI RAGHAVENDRATEERTHA GURUBHYO NAMAHA.

Before going to Anegundi the sanctum of Navavrundavana, I wish to describe the importance of Hampi. When we travel through out the length and the breadth of our Sacred India, we find sixteen punyakshetras. Among them Hampi is also one such punyakara kshetra.  Sri Naarada Maharshi has said in SriMadBhaagavata in the saptama skanda, fifteenth chapter(adhyyaya).

Sa Vai Punyatamo Deshaha Satpaatram Yatra Labhyatae Yatraha Brahmanakulam
Tapo Vidya Dayaanvitam Yatra Gangadayo Nadyaha Puraneshu Vishrutaaha

Where the punyakaryas are always going on by the Satpatraas - able personalities, where Adhyayana,Adhyaapana, Japa, Tapa, Anushthaana are going on by the Rushi Munis and where Ganga, Krishna, Kaveri, Tungabhadra are flowing that country is really sacred and holy and that sacred country is our India.

PampaBinduSarastathaaha..
Yetae Punyatama Deshaaha ....

So with all this our Hampi is a holy kshetra, Parama Vaishnava Shiva's Shivakshetra - Hampi Sri Virupakshadevaru.

Devotees please listen the call of our Sri Narada to visit this sanctum and there by find our uddhaara is the universal concern to the world. Most sacred Tungabhadra is singing the lullaby near the chakrateertha, that has paved the way to settle Sri Yantroddhaaraka, Sri Hanuma - Bheema - Madhwa by aparokshagnyani, Daivamsha sambhoota Sri Vyasarajaru who is trikaala smaraneeya to all of us. We have no words to describe the love of Sri Vyasarajaru towards Hampi, who is also Prahlada Avataari. Lived for a long time and spent the most valuable period in Hampi, propagating Sri Harisarvottama and Vayujeevottama and the teachings of Sri Anandateertharu in a unique style, by installing 732 Sri Hanumanthadevaru through out the country. The first one is the Yantroddhaaraka Sri Praanadevaru. The world has simply amazed for the great voluminous creativity of Sri Vyasarajaru.

Before proceeding to Navavrundavana, let us visit some of the important sanctums along with Chakrateertha Yantroddhaaraka Swami.

To the west of Seeta Sarovara when we pass on through a narrow way we find a mantapa, there we find the Brindavana of Sri Raghunandanateertharu, almost attached to the Tungabhadra on a rocky bed. Sri Raghunandanateertharu the Guru of Sri Surendrateertharu and the shishyaru of Sri Jitamitraru is  the thirteenth pontiff from our Sri Acharya Madhwaru, a great scholar, well versed in chaturopaaya . Sri Raghavendrateertharu is the seventeenth pontiff.  The fame and credit of getting Sri Moola Ramadevaru goes to Sri Raghunandateertharu in Sri Vidya Mutt, Sri Rayara Mutt Vibudhendrateerthara Mutt. In front of this great yati we find an idol of Sri Hanumanthadevaru bearing four hands.

Sri Purandaradasa's Mantapa is also at the back of the temple of Sri Vijayavithala. Sri Dasarayaru spent time in Japa,Aahneeka, Anushthaana and used to sit and meditate for hours together owing to the profound silence and immense natural gift. The Vijayanagara Sri Krishnadevaraya built this Mantapa for Sri Purandaradasaru. Who has received the praise from his Guru Sri Vyasarayaru:

Dasarendare Purandara Dasarayya.

Thus Hampi became the headquarters for Sri Purandaradasaru to compose 4,75,000/ Keertanas and Padas. Nourished and cherished the kannada literature through the devotional writings. That too by Ashu Kavitva, spontaneous flow, overflow. It is interesting to note that our Sri Purandaradasaru became the grandfather of Karnataka Music. Karnataka Sangeetha Pitamaha. Mantralaya devotees are simply overwhelmed to know the Anugraha of Sri Hari Vayu Guru. Sri Madacharya's successor Sri Padmanabhateertharu, His successor Sri Narahariteerthara Brindavana is in Hampi almost in the river of Tungabhadra on a rocky bed.Open to the mother nature. It was Sri Shamashastri, the poorvashrama name of Sri Narahariteertharu who ruled Kalinga Desha for a period of twelve years, as per the noble advice of Sri Madacharyaru and there by received the sacred Sri Moola Rama and Moola Sita which were in the raja bhandaara treasury of Sri Gajapatiraya and handed over to Sri Madhwacharya that Sri Brahmakaraarchita idols.Took the ashrama Sanyasa by Sri Padmanabhateertharu and named as Sri Narahariteertharu a noble personality is always remembered by the Madhwas, we can say Sri Narahariteertharu the third Yatipungava is Trikaalasmaraneeyaru. Added much more sanctity by obtaining Sri Bhramakaraarchita  Sri Moola Seeta, Sri Moola Rama and handing over to Sri Hanuma - Bheema - Madhwaru - to our Sri Acharya Madhwaru.

So devotees with all this rich heritage legacy our Hampi is really famous as Dakshina Kasi, owing to our Sri Vyasarajaru's Yantroddhaarakaru, Purandaradasaru, Sri Raghunandanateertharu, Sri Narahariteertharu, Sri Vijayavithala,Sri Virupakshadevaru. Enhanced  the glory of Hampi. Hampi,Tungabhadra, Chakrateertha Yantroddhaaraka,Anegundi, Navavrundavana Bhikshalaya-Bichali Mantralaya-Manchali,Sri Raghavendrateertharu, Sri Appanacharya, Sri Krishnavadhootaru,Sri Ibharamapura Appa are to be remembered by all of us on this auspicious day of Akshayatrateeya. The sacred divine chain is protecting the world devotees day in and day out.
