Mantralaya Sri Raghavendrateertharu’s devotees nobility and ability in general and the capability of Ibharampura Sri Appavaru are described in Mantralaya(841).

Meaning:

Showering the cold sweet water streaks from the clouds in the sky is the beginning of the rainy season, we call it as Shraavananamaasa. Full of rich greenery where ever we see, pleasant rain. A kind of fragrance from the mother earth – GANDHAVATEE PRUTHHVI. The soothing fragrance of the Devaloka Paarijaata  flower, timely rains and the glory of mother earth are all now simply a remembrance. Untimely rains in some parts, Ativrushti Anaavrushti leading to disaster of havoc and panic. Sometimes we feel is the nature’s wrath shortage of SARVATRA SUVRUSHTI SAMAVRUSHTI. Ozone layer has completely deplated become thin owing to the vehicles rich smoke prevailing everywhere. We are passing through this cycle. Scarcity of drinking water is prevailing. The satvika sajjanas simply pray to Sri Varunadevaru to shower timely good rains. So only the prayer is in our hands. Sometimes the questions arise to us is it because the wrath of the nature or the new generation’s modern life style and the way of thinking. We are remembering the by gone good old days and wish to revive the same sort of abundant glory of mother nature and completely surrendered to our universal divine saint of Mantralaya prabhu and pray to the lotus feet of our Rayaru. On the day of Shraavana Baula Dwiteeya at the time of Rayaru engaging to the Deergha Akhanda Japa of Sri Hari  in Mantralaya on the sacred bank of Tungabhadra, heavy incessant rain lashing everywhere in Mantralaya. Venkanna devotees are completely wet owing to the rain, do something provide shelter. Even at that time Rayaru’s heart was contemplating to the safety of the devotees. Diwan Venkannapant immediately prepared the Mantapa and covered with the big branches of trees full of leaves. So that the devotees are protected from the rain.

RAYARA CHITTA BHAKTARA KADEGE

The demands and the desires whether it is small or big our Rayaru fulfills in a miraculous way. This is the Sankalpa and the Kind care of our Rayarau. Practically proving even today that  I AM IN MATRALAY FOR THE SAKE OF THE DEVOTEES. BHAKTAANUGRAHA PREMI IS OUR MANTRALAYA RAYARU!

Sri Ibharamapura Sri Appavru Apaokshagnyani  Aaptaru, Paramapriyaru, Antaranga bhaktaru the greatest devotee of Mantralaya Sri Raghavendratertha Gurusarvabhoumaru’s  Aradhana recently we have celebrated on Shraavana Shukla Dwiteeya ! Always regarded and respected the Sadaachaari vipras with love and affection. The kind hospitality of Sri Appavaru is well known to all. In the afternoon at the time of lunch Bhojana, who so ever the Brahmins come were all invited with affection. This was the greatest quality of our Rayaru.

Once a brahmin came to meet Appavaru with Gandha Akshate Angaara. Appavaru gazed at him from top to bottom and did not talk and also did not bless. Did not even asked him to sit for meals, though it was the right time as all the Brahmanottamaru were finding their seats to sit. Sri Appavaru did not open his mouth.  All the brahamins simply amazed to witness the situation. Later they all came to know that the person was in disguise. At the first sight understood that he was a great imposter, a crooked thief and terrorist. Prime crime commuter of Gohatyaa and Brahmahatyaa. Sri Appavaru seeing at him noticed all this, so did not entertain much. On the otherhand simply avoided him and neglected. Such a great SOOKSHA GRAAHI SOOKSHMA DRUSHTI of our Appavaru has Blessed our Mantralaya devotees is a great record in our Moolamahasamsthaana Rayaramatha.

Ibharamapura Sri Krishnaryaru is famous and popular as Ibharamapura Sri Appavaru owing the greatest qualities of affection, kind concern and care towards the public at large, irrespective of caste, creed, religion, nation, gender and age. Sri Appavaru’s Vaak siddhi was nothing but a Boon!  But never exhibited! Sri Ganeshacharyaru a great grammarian was efficient in logic and knowledge was residing in Mantralaya. Frequently Apavaru was visiting Mantralaya to avail our Rayaru’Darshana.

Sri Ganeshachharyaru was always meeting Appavaru with great respect and regard offering Saashtaanga  Namaskara to Appavaru. Casually Appa uttered a sentence Ganeshacharyare Now you are performing Saashtaanga Namaskara now onwards I have to offer this Namskara to you! Nobody took it seriously. That night Sri Ganeshacharyaru received the telegram START IMMEDIATELY TO NANJANAGUD from Nanjanaguda Sri Sugnyanendrateertharu. As per the telegram left Mantralaya and went to Nanjanaguda. Owing to the old age Sri Sugnyanendrateertharu was seriously ill. Decided to Make Gansehacryaru as his uttaraadhikaari, formalities of Sanyasa completed and named Sri Ganeshachrya as Sri Sudharmendrateertharu. When Sri Sudharmendrateertharu came to Mantralaya, welcomed with great honour. Everybody remembered the wordings of Ibharamapura Sri Appavaru.  

If Appavaru  did not come to Mantralaya for four days, Rayaru was himself going to Ibharamapura to see Appa. Rayaru appeared in the dream of Sanklapa Sevaarthhees and told several times that Appa had not come to Mantralaya since four days, so tomorrow I will be visiting Ibharampura from 10 am to 4pm. This much of kind relationship was between Appa and to our Mantralaya Rayaru. This is the greatness of our devotees of Mantralaya  Rayarau. The greatest devotee of Japadakatti Bichali Sri Appanacharyaru is well known to all. Fortunate to get the seva of Rayaru in all the four rebirths – Lachamari Benakappa – KarajagiDasappa – Shreedavithaladasaru  - Kosigi Sri Swamirayacharya - Sri GurJagannathadasaru has said in the 9th shloka of Sri Raghavendra Gurustotra:

YATPAADA PANKA RAJASAA PARI BHOOSHITAANGAA
YATAPAADAPADMA MADHUPAAYITA MAANASAA YE
YATPAADA PADMA PARIKEERTANA JEERNA VAACHAHA

Those devotees who apply Rayara Paadakamala Rajassu   Arthhaat Guru Shirogata Mruttika to the whole body as Alankaara, those who are in the seva to the lotus feet of our Rayaru and taken shelter just like the bees are always taken care by our Rayaru. Those devotees  who are fully aware, properly understood, well versed to the Mahima of our Rayaru are all really worthy and Mahpunyavantaru!  Mere darshana of such devotees all our effects of evil including the sins will be simply be vanished, burnt away as the wildfire will burn the entire forest.  Devotees this is the Mahima of our Rayaru!
