The first day of our NEW YEAR of Hemalambinaama Samvatsara. Actually Yugadi became Ugadi just for the sake of easy and convenient of pronunciation. Very auspicious day. Mantralaya devotees always desire to start the day after the Darushana of Sri Raghavendrateertharu and engage themselves in the Seva of Pradakshina Saashtaanga Ashta Namaskaras with utmost devotion and surrender completely - Samarpitaru to our Rayaru.!

We are amazed to the style and the mode of Chaitra Chetana. Owing to the summer though the severity of the Sun is blazing hot the trees are decorated themselves with new tender leaves. Jasmine Mandaara Mallige and Mangoes are abundantly grown and available in this Chaitra and Vaishaakha.

Owing to the wrath of Varunadeva though we experienced insufficient rain now, there is no shortage of water. Abundant ground water is available in Mantralaya. The yield of borewells is quite satisfactory, on the sacred bank of Tungabhadra.

Sri Vyasarajayativarenyaru  has described in Sri Yantroddharakara Stotra, that the forceful flow of water is equal to the waves of the ocean. The cold breeze is simply bincessantly spraying to our Sri Maruti, who is residing on the hilly area of south side. Sri Vyasarayaru gave his heart to the forceful flow of our Sacred Tungabhadra in Hampi – Chakrateertha due to the depth of water certain waves instead going fast and forceful, simply whirl, here the forceful flow is turned into whirling. Sri Prahalada Sri Bahleeka Sri Vyasarajaru left nothing in describing the greatness of Tungabhadra river which is equal to the river Sarayu in Ayodhya. Climatic conditions and the thin ozone layer are responsible for rain short and Tungabhadra is not properly flowing. Morning and evening the cold breeze from the Tungabhadra is quite soothing. There is no shortage of water in Mantralaya. During the noon though the Sun is too bright in Mantralaya we devotees feel that this bright Sunshine will really burn our sins and we be ome pure at the punya sannidhaana of our Akhanda Deergha Japarata Rayaru’s Brindavanamandira Aavaasa

Sri Narahari  with great affection asked Rayaru to live in Mantralaya for 700 years and perform the uddhaara of all the Haribhaktas, as per your desire of Prahaada Avatara. Rayaruhumbly  replied that anxious to  follow Manudharma and Yatidharma, never desired to make a show His divinity nor His ability. Everything is done by Sri Hari. All are anxiously awaiting for the dawn, Cold breeze is quite soothing and encouraging, the cows and calves shouting of AMBAA AMBAA from the GOSHAALA is like the UDAYARAAGA. Devotees are all looking upward at the trees to look at Ratna Pakshi it is auspicious to see that on Yugadi. All these new experiences in Mantralaya are pleasing and encouraging. Devotees are standing in Q in front of Sri Venkateshwara temple, Sri Manchalemma temple, Sri Praanadevaru  and  Sri Rudradevaru in the Shilamantapa for Rayaru’s Darshana. Sevaarthhis are already engaged in Pradakshina, Ashtanamaskara, Gurustotrapathhana.
 
This is the usual routine in all the 365 days of the year, but on the day of Yugadi it is special and unique in its own way. Some devotees are in Tulasi garden and offering regards. Each and every minute is important.
