Significance of Mantralaya and devotion towards Rayaru is described in Mantralaya(1045).
Meaning
Sri
RaghavendraTeertharu, with the divine blessings of Sri Lord Narayana,
graciously bestows his benevolence upon those who surrender and offer
prayers. It is worth contemplating why Rayaru grants materialistic
desires, such as worldly achievements, relationships, health, and other
tangible aspirations, rather than focusing solely on non-materialistic
and spiritual pursuits like meditation and the path to moksha. Some may
question this approach and argue that Rayaru should exclusively offer
blessings that elevate one's consciousness and lead to ultimate
liberation.
However, it is essential to comprehend the boundless
compassion and empathy that Rayaru embodies. Sri Krishanavadutaru
beautifully described Rayaru's heart as softer than ghee, indicating
the kindness of Rayaru. Rayaru, in his infinite wisdom, recognizes the
intricate web of our life experiences, both past and present, and the
karmic implications they entail.
To illustrate this, let us
consider the analogy of a sick child seeking treatment. The doctor
prescribes bitter medicines that are necessary for the child's
recovery. Although the medicine is beneficial, it might be challenging
for the child to willingly consume it due to its unpleasant taste. In
this scenario, the loving and caring mother intervenes, understanding
the necessity of the medicine and the child's reluctance to take it.
She sweetens the medicine, making it more palatable for the child,
thereby ensuring the child's well-being while also bringing a smile to
their face.Similarly, we, as individuals, are afflicted by the
consequences of our own actions and the burdens of negative karma
accrued throughout our lifetimes. Just as a mother understands her
child's aversion to bitter medicine, Rayaru, like a compassionate
mother figure, recognizes our need for materialistic desires. By
fulfilling these desires, Rayaru provides us with moments of joy and
relief, much like sweetening the bitter medicine. During this phase of
wish fulfillment, our devotion to the Lord intensifies, and we engage
in selfless service (Seva), deepening our spiritual connection and
accumulating positive karma.
Once our materialistic desires are
fulfilled and our immediate needs are met, our focus naturally shifts
to introspection and contemplation of our spiritual journey. With the
burdens of worldly concerns alleviated, we are better able to reflect
upon the purpose of our existence and our spiritual duties. Rayaru's
benevolent guidance allows us to experience a transformational shift in
consciousness. It is through this process that we begin to explore
profound spiritual practices, such as meditation, and aspire to attain
moksha—the ultimate liberation from the cycle of birth and
death. Therefore, while Rayaru compassionately addresses our immediate
worldly needs, his ultimate aim is to inspire us to reflect upon the
deeper truths of life and guide us towards spiritual growth. By
fulfilling our materialistic desires, Rayaru provides a pathway for us
to discover our higher purpose, allowing us to gradually transcend the
limitations of the material world and embark on a profound spiritual
quest.
As per my father Sri Raghvendra Patwari, it is of utmost
importance to chant the names of Mantralaya and Rayaru with every
breath. But what makes Mantralaya so divinely significant? Its
sacredness transcends the boundaries of time, spanning across the ages
of Treta Yuga, Dwapara Yuga, and continuing into the present Kali
Yuga. This hallowed place has been blessed by the presence and divine
interventions of various deities and incarnations throughout history.
In
the ancient Treta Yuga, Mantralaya witnessed the profound meditation
and grand Yagnya performed by the great devotee Sri Prahalad Rajaru.
His unwavering devotion and selfless acts of worship pleased Lord
Narasimha and Goddess Durga, who graced him with their divine Darshan.
The sanctity of Mantralaya was established through this divine
intervention. Lord Narasimha and Goddess Durga presence affirmed the
sanctity and holiness that permeated Mantralaya.
During that
same Treta Yuga, at Mantralaya, Lord Sri Rama Chandra arrived and took
respite. He spoke to Lakshmana, narrating the extraordinary devotion
and Yagna performed by his devotee, Sri Prahalad Rajaru. The echoes of
devotion and spiritual power reverberated throughout Mantralaya.
In
the epoch of Dwapara Yuga, when the valiant Arjuna engaged in the
Ashwamedha Yaga, he found himself confronted by the formidable King
Anushwala at Mantralaya. Lord Krishna, assuming the role of Arjuna's
Sarathi (charioteer), witnessed the battles unfold. To Arjuna's
astonishment, Anushwala defeated him repeatedly, seeming invincible.
Weary and perplexed, Arjuna turned to Lord Krishna, seeking answers.
With a gentle smile, the Lord explained that Anushwala had stationed
his chariot at the very spot where Sri Prahalad Rajaru had performed
the Yagna, infusing it with immense spiritual power. Even Lord Krishna
himself was unable to overcome Anushwala's strength at that spot. Lord
Krishna instructed Arjuna to make Anushwala move from that spot the
next day, ensuring his victory. Following Lord Krishna's counsel,
Arjuna compelled Anushwala to shift his chariot, leading to his defeat.
Such is the magnificence, glory, and divine power that reside within
Mantralaya.
In a divine act of providence, Sri Raghavendra
Teertharu, guided by the eternal wisdom of the cosmos, chose the exact
location where Sri Prahalad Rajaru had performed his magnificent Yagnya
as the sacred site for his Brindavana. It was here, at this hallowed
spot in Mantralaya, that the spiritual energies of Prahalad Rajaru's
devout offerings had infused the very fabric of the land. Sri
Raghavendra Teertharu recognized the profound sanctity and divine
vibrations emanating from this sacred ground, drawing him irresistibly
towards it.With the blessings of Sri Lord Narayana, Sri Raghavendra
Teertharu embarked on his divine journey, serving as the bridge between
the mortal realm and the realm of the divine. In his infinite
compassion and spiritual grace, he embraced this chosen spot,
establishing his Brindavana as a beacon of hope, devotion, and
spiritual transformation. The convergence of these two great souls, Sri
Prahalad Rajaru and Sri Raghavendra Teertharu, at the same sacred place
is a testament to the interconnectedness of divinity across the ages.
It symbolizes the continuity of devotion, the eternal flame of
righteousness, and the indomitable power of selfless surrender.
The
divine episodes of Treta Yuga and Dwapara Yuga are testaments to the
unmatched significance of Mantralaya. It is a place where the energy of
Sri Prahalad Rajaru's Yagnya and the universal positive divine energy
converge, creating an extraordinary spiritual abode.
In the
present age of Kali Yuga, Mantralaya continues to radiate its
sacredness, drawing countless devotees who seek solace, spiritual
growth, and the fulfillment of their deepest aspirations. By
incorporating the chanting of "Mantralaya" and invoking the grace of
Sri Raghavendra Swami and Rayaru in every breath, we establish an
intimate connection with the divine energies of this sacred place.

spiritual transformations and receive the abundant blessings of Sri

The greatest Devotees have made it clear in detail in Gurustotra
Mangalashtaka and RaghavendraTantra.
In the sacred Brindavana,
Sri Raghavendra Swamy sits, his living presence blessing his devoted
followers. Despite having the choice to go to Vaikunta, the divine
realm, when Narasimha Devaru invited him, Sri Prahalad Rajaru politely
declined the offer. Instead, he humbly asked the Lord to allow him to
stay on Earth and assist people on their spiritual journey towards Sri
Hari. In this powerful moment, Sri Prahalad Rajaru exemplified his deep
commitment to serving humanity. By graciously turning down the allure
of Vaikunta, Sri Prahalad embraced the noble purpose of guiding and
supporting individuals, helping them find their way to Sri Hari's
divine presence.Sri Raghavendra Swamy's decision showcased the profound
connection between heavenly realms and our earthly existence. By
choosing to remain amidst the challenges of human life, Sri Raghavendra
