Bhikshaalaya Darshana-12

( Sacred house of Sri Appanacharya)

Date : Sep 7 Aug 2006

Background

The sacred residence (house) of Sri Appanacharya in Bhikshaalaya and the kind, cordial co-ordination of our Mantralaya Rayaru and Appanacharyaru are described in Bhikshaalaya(12). This is the concluding of Bhikshaalaya sub series.

Meaning

As per the inspiration and anugraha of Mantralaya Rayaru the Bhikshaalaya series took birth in twelve series to describe the greatness of Sri Appanacharya and the sanctity of Bhikshaalaya JAPADAKATTE. The whole descriptive ideas are the blessings of Sri Guru Raghavendrateertharu.

So, devotees please Visit Mantralaya-Bhikshaalaya-Panchamukhi. We have to enroute to the left side of Gillesugur camp to reach Yele Bichchale- a small village. Owing to the abundant betel leaf farms and gardens the village is named  as Yele Bichchale. Though the road condition is not good, devotees are after Bhikshaalaya and do not care the in conveniences. Our great Appanacharya’s house is in Bhikshaalaya. It is about four hundred years old.The complete wood and mud roof the house is cool, comfort and quite soothing, even in the severe hot summer. When ever Rayaru visited Bhikshaalaya stayed in this house of Appanacharya. Today the descendants - vamashastharu of Appanacharya detail and describe the whole thing, show the spot in that house where Rayaru performed the Pooja of Sri Moola Rama Devaru. The house is extraordinary owing to the dwelling of this great devotee of Mantralaya Prabhugalu. Here in this house Appanacharya lived happily, enlightened and lighted the Divinity of Mantralaya Rayaru to the whole Universe. We are glad  to get the Darshana of Sri Pandurangavithala murty, our Appanacharya daily worshipped. We are simply thrilled with Bhakti to see the Spot where Rayaru used to sit in that house. That part is decorated with flowers, Visitor Devotees worship with Tulasi.

Today the devotees are visiting daily Bhikshaalaya JAPADAKATTE and Appanacharya’s house. When we listen the entire routine of Rayaru and Appanacharyaru we become emotional and tears roll on our cheeks. The heart and mind never wish to depart from the sacred Bhikshaalaya. So much of sanctum is fully spread, covered, showered in Bhikshaalaya due to Mantralaya Rayaru and Appanacharyaru.

Today the descendants of Appanacharya family are highly brainy personalities, well placed in service and today possessing the highest knowledge. The devotion, Rayara Anugraha, the humble, dober qualities are the gift of Appanacharya. They describe before the JAPADAKATTE to the arrived devotees. Standing before the JAPADAKATTE on the sacred bank of Tungabhadra river the descriptions of Vamshashtaru (descendants) of Appanacharya make us to forget everything, and impress only the Ek Shila Brindavana of JAPADAKATTE, Moola Brindavana of Mantralaya Rayaru-the personality of Rayaru:

Aapaada Mouli Paryantamm Gurunaam Aakrutim Smaraet
Taena Vighnaaha Pranashyanti Siddhyanticha Mano Rathhaaha

Bhikshaalaya Appanacharya has described in the above shloka of Gurustotra that remembering the personality of Rayaru from feet to head, the obstacles will be vanished and the desired will be fulfilled. Appanacharya,Diwan Venkanna simply flash, brighten our divinity, mark and march to the path of success.

What a great cordiality between Mantralaya Rayaru and Bhikshaalaya Appanacharyaru ! Rayaru left Kumbhakonam, the sacred bank of Kaveri, where Rayaru was born and brought up, came to Manchale-Bichchale on the bank of the sacred Tungabhadra in search of Appanacharya and Venkanna, for the betterment (Uddhaara) of all of us. JAPADAKATTE Brindavana is the symbol of Rayau’s highest affection blessed on Appanacharya. Gurustotra Rachana is the sankalpa of Sri Hari, so the wordings have spontaneously overflowed from the heart of Appanacharya. Gurustotra today is the best formula to acquire punya and siddhi.

So, dear devotees please visit Mantralaya-Bhikshaalaya and Panchamukhi. Fill the sanctity of sanctums, be happy and contented. With this humble call I wish to conclude the Bhikshaalaya in twelve series.
OM SRI RAGHAVENDRAAYA NAMAHA.
DHANYA BHIKASHAALAYA APPANACHARYA.
We all bow with full regards to this great devotee of Rayaru.

Thus I conclude the Bhikshaalaya series and humbly continue the Mantralaya series by the blessings of Mantralaya Rayaru till my last breath. It is the will and wish of Rayaru. If there are any deletions and additions I warmly welcome. The credit of Gunas are of Rayaru and if there are any doshas (mistakes) they are of mine. I am the devotee of devotees of Mantralaya Rayaru and Bhikshaalaya Appanacharyaru. NAMO NAMO MANTRALAYA GURUSARVABHOUMA BHIKSHAALAYA Appanacharya Priya
