Bichchale Sri Appanacharya’s
Gurustotra, the affection of Mantralaya Rayaru, the firm faith of
Appanacharya and the last days at the JAPADAKATTE are described in
this SACRED SERIES of Bhikshaalaya(10).
Sri Raghavendra Gurusarvabhoumaru-Mantralaya Mandira
under the divine shelter of Sri Manchalemma is protecting the devotees of
this universe. A Great Sri Hari Bhakta Mantralaya Rayaru is spreading Sri
Hari Sarvottama-Vayujeevottama and is distributing the abundant punya
acquired by the blessings of Sri Hari. Only for the sake of this noble cause
Sri Raghavendraswammigalu left the temple town of Kumbhakonam which is situated on the
sacred bank of Kaveri and came to Manchale which is situated on the bank of
Tungabhadra. The acquaintance of Sri Rayaru made Appanacharya a great devotee
of Rayaru . Gururaya always desired to see Appanacharya and was frequently
visiting Bhikshaalaya (Bichchale) and spent the time on the sacred JAPADAKATTE,
very adjacent to the Tungabhadra river. We can say as SATSANGA.
Rayaru’s most favourite Bhakta Sri Appanacharya has understood
and realised Rayaru, as he was always near and dear since the arrival to
Manchale. Fully surrendered with gratitude and composed Stotra,Kavacha and
Mangalashtaka. Submitted with devotion to Rayara Brindavana. Appanacharya’s
samarpana bhaava to Mantralaya Rayaru cannot be excelled by anybody.
per the desire and order of Rayaru Appanacharya did the pratishthaapana of
Shila Brindavana on the JAPADAKATTE. Appanacharya spent all the time at the
JAPADAKATTE,seva, hastodaka to the Brindavana, always remembered Rayaru and
PRONOUNCING OM SRI RAGHAVENDRAYANAMAHA. In the heart of Appanacharya
we can find Rayaru just as Sri Rama is in the Heart of Hanumanta (PranaDevaru).
Sri Appanacharya’s Gurustotra is very dear to
Rayaru. Crores of devotees in the world today chant (pathana) the
Gurustotra of Appanacharya. This stotra is echoing in Mantralaya. Almost
all the devotees chant this stotra at the time of seva, pooja including the
archakas of Rayaru. Those who chant will get siddhi, good health and success in
all their works. Rayaru is the saakaara of sarvaswa anugraha of Sri Hari. So
dear devotees let us all do the pathana of Sri Gurustotra regularly and
remember Bhikshaalaya Sri Appanarya with gratitude for the great master piece.
Appanacharya Gnyaani, learned, scholar, pratibhaashaali (man of high imaginative
power), kind, able and above all a devotee of Rayaru and the pioneer of Madhwa
Sanchara.Appanacharya has done the magnificent work. His name is always
remembered. His name is always evergreen in the history of manukula. So
devotees please come to Bhikshaalaya Mantralaya.
is in Bhikshaalaya the native place of Appanacharya. Sri Rayara Shila
Brindavana is on the sacred JAPADAKATTE. There we can find UgraNarasimha of Sri
Sripadarajaru, Prana Devaru of Sri Vyasarajaru, Sri Shesha Devaru of Sri
Jitamitraru. The whole sanctum is guarded by the Sheshas. So dear devotees
please come to Bhikshaalaya and see all this. Pay homage to this sanctum and
the noble personality of Sri Appanacharya. What an amount of punya he has made
in his lifetime that He was with Rayaru. Even when Rayaru was in Brindavana he
got the sanction to the Great Rayara Stotra : Saakshi Hayastotrahi.
Appanacharya also got the darshana of Rayaru in Brindavana at Mantralaya. Really
a great devotee of Mantralaya Rayaru. Bhikshaalaya Appanacharya’s
name will always shine like Dhruva Nakshatra.
Sri Appanacharya is as remembered as we remember the architect of Mantralaya
